Zappos’ new digital editorial initiative, The Ones, brings together high-profile interviews, fashion inspiration, shopping, and all things creative celebrating classic sneakers. 

I was thrilled to work with their editorial team to create 5 features showcasing women at the top of their game: Stylist Al Malonga wearing her classic Stan Smith’s, Musician Olga Bell in her red Pumas, Photographer/Skateboarder Kathy Hayes in her Vans, Textile designer Aelfie in her white Converse, and Illustrator Jing Wei in black Vans. 

For each shoot, we worked closely with art director, Lindsay Calhoun, and writer Kelly Lack to curate the list of women to feature, location scout, shoot, and retouch the photos.
