Julia Parris is a multi-discipline leader in the creative community whose creative journey has colorfully woven advertising and editorial for over 17 years. 

As a Photographer, Art Director, and Artist, she infuses each project with vibrant storytelling and strategic thinking for Global tech, beauty and lifestyle brands. After building a decade of experience working in-house in advertising agencies such Wieden + Kennedy, McKinney and Big Spaceship, she founded Analog is Heavy, a concept-to-capture creative studio based in NYC.

Julia and her teams collaborate closely with agencies, design studios and start-ups working on a range of 360 brand projects that celebrate culture and authentically speak to the moment through brand campaigns, editorial projects and launch imagery.

Julia served on the Board of Directors at AIGA NY, art directing community initiatives and overseeing the Comms Team from 2018 - 2020. She teaches strategic cut-paper-collage workshops throughout the creative community, and serves as Faculty at School of Visual Arts in the Design and Advertising Department. She self-publishes a photography print magazine, and speaks on creativity and entrepreneurship to organizations and creative teams around the country.
